→Dissecting

So... Day after the tram hike we went to Auk Rec once again.. .and dissected a seal! We also learned about how we should respect the animals because it has sacrificed its life for us and the person who caught it (Lyle) was up at 4 in the morning to catch it which was pretty thoughtful of him to do that for us camp kids (:

So we went and climbed Mount Roberts yesterday! I hated it! I'm Sick and my left foot hasn't been doing good lately... But other than that... We got a free nano ipod with some Tlingit on it. We were supposed to have a dance but that got canceled... So instead we just hung out at the college lodge and we played games and watched tv etc!! it was alright but i was super duper tired afterwords haha. So today i slept in a good hour had a very light breakfast and now i'm here writing this blog! Whoo!!!

♥People I've Met

I've met alot of people here, sort of, kind of, okay so i know their names haha that still counts! But there are also people that i've already known before we came here which made me so much more comfortable when i first came here... (Sena Says Hi) That girl that said hi she is my boyfriends cousin.. just met her at this camp so thats pretty cool... she's like, super duper awesome haha. Theres also a few more people that make me laugh so hard i can't breathe! haha i love it!! But i love meeting new people so coming here to this camp was a good idea and i highly doubt i will regret it in the future (:

{How Camp is}

So Camp is going pretty awesome so far... On the first day we went to Skaters Cabin and had a barbecue, it was delicious! We also learned how to do the drum routine! Our teacher is Lyle James... Now everyone loves doing it, okay well most people. Haha. But yeah... Second Day we went to Auc Rec and learned a whole bunch about plants and rocks and shells and just marine science stuff! It was alright I mean for me being so young still I got restless and jittery and couldn't really stay still and had a hard time concentrating. But over-all i tried to learn my best and take notes to myself and had a great time dissecting a salmon and crab! Whoo!! Lets see... 3rd day was the best day so far.. We went to Taku Inlet on a catamaran and we saw killer whales!! It was amazing i loved it i tried to take pictures but it didn't work because my phone is really slow and it wouldn't catch the whale like i wanted it to... ): But i got a horrible video on it which is better then nothing right? 4th day was alright i'm kind of sick which sucks but yeahh... we went to... brotherhoods bridge.. ehh.. learned about fish and flys and plants, if i wasn't so sick i would be enjoying it more... But it was still pretty fun (: And last but not least for now, today! We are going to climb the Mount Roberts Trail up to the Tram and have some yummy dinner and then ride the tram back down!! Whoo ooh and we get to have a dance tonight!! like with hip hop and stuff kind of dance (: i'm stoked for that haha. The End!!

So hey, my Name is in my user-name if you haven't noticed... Tuey... Not my real name but good enough right? Well about me... I am currently 17yrs of age I was born in Juneau Alaska but my family originates from Hoonah Alaska... I'm here at a camp called The Path To Success... it's pretty chill here I love the activities we're doing because it has a lot to do with our culture and none of this would be happening without the help of the Goldbelt Heritage Foundation! This Camp is about math, science combined into our heritage! I've learned a whole bunch so far!! Its crazy insanity!
